The museum has a clear curatorial vision and a design project that has evolved as new exhibits have been uncovered and acquired. The presence of the museum is signalled by a luminous totem to the street, and inside there is a personalised graphic system to help navigate the spaces. The entire museum is based on interactive mechanical installations that allow access to photographs, texts and audio recordings. They have been cleaned, inventoried and documented. In the 7 rooms, more than 100 authentic pieces of furniture, publications, posters, household objects, tools, money and photographs from the communist period are on display. The completion and opening of the first house marks very well the presence of the museum in Tămășeni: on the one hand, the older inhabitants of the village remembered the village centre for the collection of quotas, and on the other hand, the local school holds part of its history lessons here, learning about this violent period in the not too distant past.

With the surrender of Japan on Septemand the Japanese submarine threat eliminated, Naval Air Station Tillamook was reduced to functional status. With a range of 2,000 miles and an ability to stay aloft for three days, they were well suited for coastal patrol and convoy escort. Stationed at NAS Tillamook was Squadron ZP-33 with a complement of eight K-Class airships. The K-ships were 252 feet long, 80 feet in diameter, and filled with 425,000 cu. Hangar "A" which was destroyed in a 1992 fire, was completed in only 27 working days! Amazingly, there were no serious injuries or deaths on the whole project. Hangar "B" was the first one built and was completed in August of 1943. With WW II well under way, construction of the two hangars was rushed to completion. Two of these hangars were built at Naval Air Station Tilllamook, which was commissioned in December 1942 to serve the Oregon-Washington-California coastal areas. Navy began construction of 17 wooden hangars to house K-class airships that would be used for anti-submarine patrol and convoy escort.
